Overview: I was born in Australia, but I currently live in the North American city of Thunder Bay, where having four to six feet of snow in the front yard during winter isn't unusual. I've two little terriers and prefer the summer to the snow. This is a lovely area when it's green. It's pretty when it's white too, but cold, and I'm not a fan of cold.

1. Secrets of the Sewer - This is book one of the Lasts.
Clara and Precipice live rough on the streets of Dublin. Life can be pretty hard, but when Jimmy the Blade ends up in pieces in a backstreet dumpster, things take a turn for the magical. Jimmy's death has something to do with the girls, but it wasn't them. There are other creatures fighting over control of the two Last sisters. The Aes Sídhe, the faerie people who live under the mounds, have a claim on the girls, but a strange old warrior - older than Dublin City itself - stands in their way. What does he want, and more to the point, who does he serve?
2. The Lasts and the Hall of Mirrors- Clara and Precipice Last live homeless on the streets, but are finding the world is not as they believed. There are magical creatures in the shadows everywhere in Dublin and things aren't really safe. Life is full of darkness - the cemetery of Goldebridge figures more in their lives than they'd care to have imagined, and the ghosts of the parents they lost two years ago have come back to haunt them.
Ghosts, ghosts are everywhere, and in the mirror a pair of eyes is looking back, but it's not a reflection.
3. The Lasts and the Missing Children - Children are missing from the streets of Dublin. No one knows where they've gone or who has taken them. If it is a creature of magic who is responsible, then there is a long list of Irish beings who are known to take children. It could be any of them. It could also be a human predator, the Southbank drug gang is a prime candidate. Fifteen year old Precipice and her ten year old sister Clara, themselves street urchins, are looking for the missing children, but the girls are Lasts, and they have magic to help them.
