Haisley’s summer dream has become a summer of bad decisions.
Haisley is falling for her crush, Weston, but her cousin Chanel blackmails her into staying away from him. Avoiding Weston proves to be a huge challenge and she can’t bring herself to tell him that they can’t date.
Meanwhile, a night of wild fun and poor choices may leave Haisley and Chanel confined to their bedroom for the rest of the summer. Having to share a room with Chanel is already unbearable. Haisley would rather be surrounded by a swarm of jellyfish than to be stuck with Chanel for the next five weeks. Although she doesn’t get along with her cousin, Haisley knows that Chanel’s boyfriend is bad news. It’s not going to be easy to get Chanel to see how toxic he really is. Who knew a summer of fun in the sun could turn into so much drama?

It’s the Fourth of July weekend at the Cove. Haisley has been warned by her jealous cousin to stay away from her crush, Weston. When Haisley refuses to, she feels the painful blow of Chanel’s wrath. After a harmful revelation, Weston may never want to speak to Haisley again. Meanwhile, Haisley makes an unexpected connection with another boy, leaving her with a huge decision to make.
