Legends of Trianon: Starla series by J. A. Comley (#1-3)
Requirements: .ePUB reader, 2.1 MB | 2020 Reissue
Overview: Born in South Africa, she may have left the heat of the savanna for the rainy skies of the UK, but J. A. Comley has brought her love of books with her. When she's not lost in the creation of a fantasy world and its inhabitants, she can usually be found reading. On the rare (really, really rare) sunny days, she embraces her love of the outdoors, exploring the countryside near her home with her family and engaging in a spot of amateur doll photography.
Genre: Fiction > Children/Young Adult

1. The Falling Star
One star. One wish. One world on the brink of destruction. In 17th Century France, Starla's life is turned upside down with a single wish. Set on a journey to uncover her past, she meets otherworldly beings, discovers powerful magic, and is thrust into a life or death struggle against a bringer of destruction. But in this world of mystery and magic, who can she trust? When left alone, does she have the strength to match her convictions? Will she be able to help the Guardians of Trianon save their world?
2. The High Lord
Evil is gaining power. The innocent are dying. A stranger to their world could be their only hope. The people of Trianon have learned to trust no one. Kyron, the Demilain Destroyer, is constantly sending in Corruptions to kill, maim, and corrupt. Starla may have been exonerated by the King, but that doesn't mean she is welcome, or even truly free. Despite this, Starla's curiosity to explore the magical city remains undimmed, as does her desire to find the answers she came there for in the first place. One man seems able to give her both, and she finds herself drawn to the powerful High Lord, Larkel. Starla thinks she sees more to him than the battle-scarred, aloof leader of the Makhi. But the High Lord holds a dark secret. Can Starla trust the man she is falling in love with? For the first time in her life, Starla finds a place she feels she belongs, but all too soon, the evil lurking beyond the safety of the city is invited inside...
3. The Soreiaphin's Choice
All hope is lost. War is imminent. Death is coming. Galatia’s last city is besieged. Hordes of undead drodemions march, at the Destroyer’s bidding, on Trianon’s final resistance. Kyron appears to be unstoppable. Desperate, the people of the Royal City ready their meagre defenses and prepare to face death. They have one chance... activate Starla’s amulet and unleash the power of the Soreiaphin. To do that, she and her companions will have to embark on a dangerous, perhaps suicidal mission. All the people of Trianon have put their faith in her. But will Starla have the courage to take her place, and sacrifice everything she loves to save her newly discovered home? Her choice will either save or condemn them all.
