Hi all,
Just in the last few days, when I open a mobi file in my Kindle for PC app, I get this message pop up:
"You have exceeded the limit on the number of devices that can read this item. You may deregister any device no longer in use and delete the content, which will allow you to download this item. You may also purchase another copy from the Kindle store."
Every time (so far), I'm able to delete the book from the library and then reopen it without a problem. And it actually is open and ready to read just fine when the message pops up, and I can close the message and still read. But it's weird.
I did just follow someone's suggestion for another reason about installing an older version of the Kindle for PC app and turning off automatic updates. So that should solve this problem for me too. But I figured I'd go ahead and post to see if anyone else ran into that lately, and if so, what was causing it and how to fix it for any future reference.
Thanks!
