Hi,

I'm new to this site and hope I'm posting this in the right place.
There seems to be a problem with some of the .rar files I have posted not extracting for a few people. Most people seem to have no problems but for a few the files appear to be corrupt.
Is this anything to do with how I'm creating the files using winrar or something else?
Is it alright to offer a download link in a PM for a different compressed file say one that has been created by 7-zip or similar.

Version 5 of .rar is incompatible with some of the older decoders. Downloading the appropriate software from https://www.rarlab.com/rar_add.htm should provide relief.
