You Can Use "TequilaCat Book reader and converter" for making .jar files.here is the link http://tequilacat.org/dev/br/index-en.html.
there are several others like mjbookmaker but TCBR is BEST according to me.I have been converting, reading and uploading in .jar format from tcbr from 3 years and it is best.one additional feature that if u want to convert any .jar to any other format then there is no converter and u have to do it manually that is to open each file in a .jar and copy paste the text.here tcbr is best as it has less files of big size but other converters like mjbookmaker has large number of files( about 10 times of tcbr) of small size.

Aldiko is a good app to use for Android. It handles ePub. There is a free (with advertising) version and a non-free version. The free version is good to try to see if you like it and if you do, then I suggest buying it.

Hi maybe someone here can help me. I tried several epub ebook readers for windows 7 but none of them are doing a good job.fb reader does not let me put any books in the library and the other ones I tried do not work either.I do not have money to spend so I have to rely on free epub ebook readers. So if anyone knows some which work I would really appreciate the suggestions. I usually read the books on my iphone or ipad2 but when I am downloading , or come across a book I want a proper look at , a reader on my laptop would come in handy.

Try Adobe Digital Editions for the PC. I also have windows 7 and I've tried nook and kindle for the comp, but I think Editions is the best. It opens epubs and pdfs, saves the page you want, and there isn't really any page lag.

I usually use calibre to convert/edit the metadata on all of my ebooks. Mainly most of the comics I DL I just want the title to be free of any _ or -, have the author in the "author" section and add the covers to some of them. I can do all of that on Calibre but there is no cbr/cbz output (I usually convert epub to epub to change saved metadata)

I was wondering if there is a similar version for comics?
