I have the above but the battery is failing and drains way to quicky, Which ereader is compatible ( ie I use adobe digital editions) to the nook?

I would prefer similar as I am not that savvy and am happy converting to this!

I am in the UK

I think you would love the Nook HD plus. I have it and I can read any book I want. The screen is much bigger and displays in 1080p. You can get them on EBay for about 75 dollars.

Many thanks, I think I will look into a KOBO as Nook don't appear to be on sale in the UK any longer.

I upgraded to the NOOK GlowLight 3 and I like it. It's a good device if all you want is an e-reader.
Or you should get the NOOK Tablet 7" with 16 GB of memory. It's about half the prince of the Glowlight 3 on this side of the pond.

Love my Nook HD. If you're happy with your Nook, you could try replacing the battery, there are tutorials on youtube. Or try ebay for a replacement Nook.

Thank you. I replaced it with a kobo clara a few weeks ago. Far superior to my old nook. Very pleased with it.

I have the the Nook Simple Touch and a Kobo Clara HD. The Kobo is far superior. Very good battery life and reads both epub and mobi. It is just a much better ereader and I recommend it.
