hey all,

I have an audiobook file in m4b format (really long too, runs for like 12 hrs) and i was hoping to pick all of your brains for a software that can convert it to mp3. I tried googling and did find a m4b to mp3 converter, but it converted only upto 6 hours or so and the rest was lost.


Any thoughts?


P.S Not sure if this query could be posed here, but since i did not find a software discussion forum thought i'd wing it... Cheers...

I've used the "free m4a to mp3 converter" software by maniactools with very good results. The software will convert m4b files as well.

I have used the very same one but the input was a 12 hours running m4b but the mp3 output came only with 6 hours, the rest was lost....

M4B is the file extension for audio-only MP4 files. It is widely used by podcast and audiobook downloaded from the Apple iTunes store.
