Do ebook files downloaded from here (or other sources) work on a Kindle without needing to do anything? Is it simply download the file, transfer it to the Kindle and read, or is there more involved? Thank you.
if you download the .mobi or .azw3 versions you can sideload them and be good to go. If you're downloading .epub files you'll need to covert them in a program like Calibre first, then sideload and read them.
