I have had one for a week now, you do get a slight shadow from the four LED's at the base of the screen, but you get use to it, it's nice being able to pump up the power to light up the device, don't have any problems with the battery, It last's far longer than my IPad mini when reading books (drains power in 4 hrs)

paperwhite is the best ereader going in my opinion, ive had mine about 10 mths and not noticed any pink tinges at all

my Sony T-1 is almost 2 years old so Im thinking of the Kindle Paperwhite. Is it bright enough? reading lights kinda suck unless you have a really good one so Im lookng for a reader that does not need one.
