This may be a dumb question but why is there a hole in the lower left hand corner of the nook hd+. What purpose does this hole have?

I don't know for sure....I have a Nook HD+, BTW...............but perhaps so you can lock it; into a briefcase, or something like that, or even to a desk. A small cable would fit through the hole, so securing it wouldn't be too complicated.
