I have a Kobo book in kepub format. I want to strip the DRM from it so I can convert it to epub. Any software that will do this?

Calibre has a plug-in that works really well. It is called DeDRM and is available here: http://apprenticealf.wordpress.com/

I usually download the Adobe DRM ePUB that comes with most Kobo books when accessed from a desktop. download that file, pop the sucker into Adobe Digital Editions. then get ePUBee DRM Removal to remove the DRM.

This is a kepub. And there's no Adobe DRM ePUB version to download.

You'll need this python script: http://pastebin.com/1jUzW8qx,

and, obviously, Python 2.7.6: http://www.python.org/download/releases/2.7.6/.

The script also needs Pycrypto which can be found here: http://www.voidspace.org.uk/python/modules.shtml.

Make sure you have Kobo Desktop installed and the book in question in your library.
