I just realized that I have digital magazines that I can check out and read on my computer. I wish I had an iPad but at least I can read them on my computer. Anyway - is there any way that they can be saved to read at a later time without having to check them out again? I'm just wondering how all those PDF magazines are formed in the first place. There must be something I'm missing. I tried every which way I can to Google it and I can't find the answer.

I suppose it would depend on what service you are using to check the magazines out - if you are reading them on your computer from someone like Amazon or Overdrive through their software then you've, presumably, got the files on your computer somewhere, where the where depends on the service but on Windows they'd usually be in My Documents (you don't need to come over here as they are in your documents). If you are reading them through your web browser then this is kind of like streaming and any local copies might not be easy/possible to access.

However, just locating the files is the first step and we can't discuss things like DRM removal on here, although it sounds like you've Googled and not found an answer, which suggests there might not be one to give anyway. Sorry we can't take this angle any further but the Mobilism naughty step has some pretty sharp spikes on it (they aren't that long, but still...).

Links dead? Need re-up? PM me.

Strange is the night where black stars rise,
And strange moons circle through the skies,
But stranger still is Lost Carcosa.

Looks like they are the streamed ones :(

I finally found the folder stored under %appdata% Roaming and there are no magazines.

There's no way around it evidently since I just found the watermark information also :)

Thanks!
