Cannot convert my .azw3 books to other formats, Calibre and other DRM removal progs won't work, need it in other formats to share with my fellow mobilismians.
I just came across this and notice you haven't had any replies. I'm not sure if this is still a problem or not.
I mainly purchase from Amazon and this used to be a problem for me. I use Calibre and was advised to get the Apprentice Alf's plugin. Follow all the instructions that come with the plugin. After you have installed the plugin anything you import into Calibre will have the DRM removed. This will usually mean that it will import the file as a .MOBI instead.
Very Important: Any files you already have will have to be deleted from Calibre and the Calibre Library and imported again. It can not remove DRM from files that have already been imported. I also found you have to remove any evidence of the book from Calibre and not just the copy of the book.
