I absolutely loved The Ocean At The End Of The Lane by Neil Gaiman. He really has a writing style that speaks to me. I can't seem to find anything else like this book, though. Can anyone recommend me anything similar?

P.s: I have read Neverwhere as well and also enjoyed it.

Might be a silly question but have you read Gaiman's other works? If not, I can't recommend American Gods enough.

I read some of them but not all. Americans Gods seems fairly interesting,I'll put it high in my list :)

I found "Ocean at the end of the lane" similar to Ray Bradbury's "Something wicked this way comes". I don't know if anyone would share this opinion, but they have both got a weak and young protagonist, trying to convince the other people of an evil they cannot seem to understand. There are some mystique elements and humanitarian insights. in both

I too felt that Ray Bradbury's prose speaks to me, like you did for Gaiman's prose. I would recommend you to read it if you haven't already.

I wouldn't say the content of the two journeys is similar, but I feel like someone who enjoyed a fantasy tale like Ocean might enjoy Mr. Penumbra's 24 Hour Book store for its characters and adventure.
