Thanks, and damn, this book has a great blurb. I was sooo excited... until I found spoilers about cheating. That's a big no for me!

#Innkeeper Chronicles(3 books uptill now) , # hidden legacy series (2 books until now) both by ilona Andrews. Heroines in both are too damn sarcastic, efficient. And story develops at high pace.

I think Kristen ashley's #rock chick series has sassy n sarcastic characters too. :D

I just discovered "penny reid" finished devoring all her books in one week.
I think I might go for second penny reid marathon. .

@Catch22filly : I loved the Rock Chick blurbs... they're up on my TBR now. Penny Reid's books definitely deserve a re-read. I just read Love Hacked again because of a personal interest in Bitcoins. Thank you! :)

All novels by Ilona Andrews would be a good fit although it is urban fantasy/romance. The banter between her heroes is very fun.

@midnightsky7702 : Great suggestion, thanks! I loved TMI series so this one's def on my TBR.

@lastikote : Does Ilona Andrews write standalones? I am not too fond of romances that stretch into 3 or more books... But I really want to read Ilona's books because the reviews are so great!

Try Golden Chance by Jayne Ann Krentz. I've read it 5 times and still chuckle at some of the dialogue with Philadelphia and the hero's family. Especially the former Marines. :)

To answer your question from January, Ilona Andrews does not write standalone novels.
The Kate Daniels series is 10 books long, and it there's no sex until book 4. But you do get sarcasm from page 2 of the first book onwards. :)
The Hidden Legacy series is 3 books and one novella long. Sassy heroine from chapter one, and badass hero enters the scene in chapter four.
Innkeeper Chronicles is 3 books so far, with another one coming out early next year. Very little sex, but lots of sassiness and sarcasm.

All three are well worth working through. I adore all of them, especially the Hidden Legacy books.

Have you read anything by Linda Howard? If not, then I'd suggest Mr. Perfect, Open Season, To Die For and Drop Dead Gorgeous.
Susan Elizabeth Phillips is also wonderful. Can't wait for her new book in 2020. Really enjoy her sassy heroines, banter and memorable scenes.

I agree, Kristen Ashley's Rock Chick series should be on your TBR. I also love Julie Garwood's Buchanan-Renard series. :D

Every single Terry Pratchett book. They're a series and it's a lot of books so very intimidating, but nearly all of them can be read easily in isolation. (Except for Night Watch which you need the preceding books to fully understand. I recommend Guards! Guards!, and The Fifth Elephant - these not only add backstory but include focus on the romantic relationship).
