I've been reading The Starships Mage Series since it started. I can't wait for the next series to start, in the meantime does anyone have a similar recommendation?

I really enjoyed his mage series and was curious if anyone had read the one he wrote with Terry Mixon. Heart of Vengeance (Vigilante Book 1)

Was wondering if anyone else has read. If its similar to the mage one I would be happy.

Not in the same universe. Book 1 ok. Very Count of Monte Cristo. Book 2 has plot holes to sink a continent. Off topic but the ONSET series by Glynn Stewart started very nice but lost me around book 4. Recommend his Duchy of Terra series. Also off topic, he changed the covers of a lot of his previous books. They look so awesome now.
