I've recently read several true crime books. The best of course, is Truman Capote's In Cold Blood. Anything else anywhere near as good?

The Devil in the White City - Erik Larson
Helter Skelter - Vincent Bugliosi
After Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil - Marilyn J. Bardsley
Agree that In Cold Blood is the Best...the three listed above are good.

Thanks for the recommendations! I have read "The Devil in the White City" and I really liked it. "Helter Skelter" is a good suggestion! I'll check out "After Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" too. I haven't heard of that one.

I would highly recommend The Adversary by Emmanuel Carrere.
I absolutely blasted through this book in around 3 hours, you know the end at the beginning but you need to know how it came to that end.

I just read Rust & Stardust by T. Greenwood... And I devoured it in one night... it is claustrophobic, sad and intriguing all at the same time.
