Hi again!
As I said in a previous thread, to complete my beloved Bingo Reading Challenge I need a book in which music plays a role: it doesn't have to be a novel, but please consider that I'm not a very musical (?) person, so I wouldn't be able to understand a too technical non fiction.

Thank you for any suggestion. ^^

The Diabolical Baron by Mary Jo Putney. An older Regency romance where the heroine plays the piano and composes music. She is very good at both.

Fire and Hemlock by Diana Wynne Jones. A modern retelling of the Tam Lin tale with other fairy-related folklore tossed in for good measure. One of the main protagonists is a cello player. One of the plotlines has to do with music, but it's not overwhelming.

Seraphina by Rachel Hartman. YA fantasy. An interesting take on dragons - need I say more? The main protagonist is a court musician.

The Nightmare (aka The Paganini Contract) by Lars Kepler. A gory Scandinavian noir thriller. Music plays (no pun intended) an important part in discovering the motive behind the crimes.
