It is becoming very very hard for me to find new series to read.... I have read well over 600 vampire books and the pickings are extremely slim. Now if anyone knows some series or books that are not known well that would be great! Please do not mention ones that are on EVERY list you could come across.... Yes that does mean twilight, anne rice books, anita blake series.... The very long list goes on but if you want to look at some of the books I have read go here.

Well if you do go through the 400 something books i have listed as read here that is aweseome.... I hope someone can point me to some books i have not read yet!

Have you read the southern vampire mysteries? I haven't found it in your list and I really like them.
There are 11 in total and they are the books from which they did True Blood (the hbo show) although the show doesn't follow the books at all so don't guide yourself by that...

Let me know if it was any help and you like them :)

The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. Also Infernal Devices series by the same author. Besides vampires these have fairies, demons, werewolves and other supernatural creatures. I quite enjoyed reading them.

Spooky, your list looks like my book shelves. I hope that means I can suggest some books you might really like!

It's kind of a Vampire type series but it's a completely different take on Vampires. It the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews.
The Jane Yellowrock series by Faith Hunter. The Oldest City Vampire series by Nancy Haddock.
The Jazz Parks series by Jennifer Rardin.
And my roommate suggests Lynn Viehl.

I hope this helps and let me know what you think.

If it's one you've passed over, I second the reccomendations for the Kate Daniels, Jane Yellowrock, and Jaz Parks series.
I'm currently reading the Others series by Jess Haines and like them a lot so far...

Yeah, I've found that it sometimes depends on my mood. The first time I read Misery by Stephen King I hated it, I re-read it five years later and loved it!

Hmm, I search by your most read authors and did a couple of quick searches and I didn't see the following:

Laura Wright - Mark of the Vampire series (Eternal Hunger, Eternal Kiss, Eternal Captive, Eternal Beast) On the first read I found the first 2 just okay and loved the 3rd. However, I recently listened to the audiobooks of the first 2 and I liked them much better.

Larissa Ione - Demonica Series and Lords of Deliverance. Not necessarily just vampires but I find her world fascinating. Looks like you've read Passion Unleashed (love me some Wraith :-) ) of Demonica but didn't see the others.

Alexandra Ivy - Guardians of Eternity. Again not just vampires but a good paranormal series.

Good luck and now I really need to peruse your list to pick up some new books :-)

Did a search on your list and didn't find one of my favorite series to indulge in, the Vampires in America series by D.B. Reynolds. I'm especially fond of Raphael and Cyn. :)

Also, I haven't read this yet, but I've added it to my to-read pile: Blood and sex series by Angela Cameron. Looks interesting!

I mostly scanned your list, so I might have missed it, but I would recommend Patricia Briggs and her series Mercy Thompson. It's mostly about werewolves but there are vampires too :)
Tanya Huff Blood Books (starting with Blood Ties) is quite famous, but I'm also not sure if you read it.
