Feel free to check out my review of Soulless HERE. I've read the first two and is starting the 3rd soon and Alexia is a funny and awesome heroine.

Honestly I was getting sick too of all the wee weak lassies and strong powerful He-men who save the heroin routine was getting quiet tiresome. Best author in my opinion who makes the heroine strong is Shelly Laurenston / G.A Aiken <3 <3 I just love them and am quiet innspired by them

Other must read authors with strong + powerful female lead Jeaniene Frost, NOT ALLOWED, Gena Showalter, Thea Harrison... but these authors are not so bad either Nora Roberts, Nalini Singh etc Image

You can check out the Intwine series(3 books are released and the fourth is due in december).I have read the first and looking forward to read the remaining. Its a awesome book about young Juliette Greenmoss discovering the secrets and dangerous life of Seth Morrison, who happens to be visiting Earth from the other side of the galaxy.By the time the overwhelming details of Seth's world unfold and it's dangers fall upon Juliette, it's too late -- she's already in love and there's no turning back!

How did nobody talk about Divergent by Veronica Roth?! Tris kicks ass as well, man. AND she is not flawless, which makes her an even more interesting character. She doesn't always make the right decisions but is strong to overcome them. She has help from her friends and those she loves.

Now, one less known would be "Legends of Muirwood" by Jeff Wheeler. Lia is also a great female character. Also strong and also with faults.

Good reading!
