Leo, the Dresden Files books get better and better by the book. Grave Peril is in my opinion the turning point that goes from very good to frikin awesome

I'm thinking of taking on Codex Alera series by Butcher but the books are awfully long. Been a long time since I read a good, old-fashioned epic fantasy, though. I might read it after all.

In an authors camp of some sort, one fellow author chalenge him to make a good story using two random ideas, Pokemon and Roman legions... Yep i know what you are thinking, but he pull it off."
