I have a few biographies in mind, but can anyone recommend interesting book on a certain family history?
I only know of books like "The Borgias", on the Kennedy family and ruling dynasty like the Tudors.
I would be more interested in reading family history on families that aren't royal.

Thank you

I might be interested in fictional family saga that is realistic as well (ie. Godfather) as long as it wasn't about political/royal/aristocratic families (read plenty of those)

If you don't mind a fictional family, maybe you could try The Thorn Birds by Colleen McCullough. Or Master of the Game, by Sidney Sheldon.

The Century Trilogy Series by Ken Follett
01 Fall of Giants
02 Winter of the World
03 Edge of Eternity
A majestic trilogy that follows five families through the most dramatic events of twentieth-century world history.

Thanks.
It reminds me to look back to James Clavell's Asian saga series as well

I forgot to mention John Jakes' trilogy:
North and South
Love and War
Heaven and Hell

It follows two families for years: the Hazards and the Mains.
