Hi beautiful folk with kind souls.

This is me again at crossroads looking for a solid recommendation. I'm a sucker for Sherlock Holmes novels. I've read all Agatha Christie books. But one book that gave me chills and made me re-read it so many times is the ever awesome The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I'm looking for books in similar vein, with chills and scary elements. Like how the hound gets an almost supernatural aura, the melancholic moor that is about precipitate another tragedy as fated. I'm still at awe of this work. Please suggest me something that has these, and if possible, more such elements and is essentially a detective crime fiction.

Thanks in advance.

Agatha Christie have a book "The Pale Horse" which is kind of what you described, but you said you've read all of her books.
Try Dennis Wheatley's books, something like The Devil Rides Out.
