Books that are similar to:

Dirk Pitt Adventures by Clive Cussler
Mitch Rapp Series by Vince Flynn
Shane Scarecrow Schofield Series by Matthew Reilly

*Main character must be male and the story should mainly be from his POV.
*Main character should start off young i.e not a middle aged experienced cop, soldier etc.
*Should have only 1 or max 2 POV.

If you already like fantasy and want a series from the POV of the main male character, I suggest one of these two:

The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. Urban fantasy; POV of the main character; Dresden is a young, still-learning, problem-with-authority kind of wizard/private-eye. The first couple of books seem to follow a cookie cutter type approach to the story line, but an overreaching story arc comes out along with a more organic feel to the following books.

Monster Hunter International by Larry Correia. Urban fantasy with a military slant; POV of the main character who survives a werewolf attack and is hired by the titular company; monsters, monsters and... more monsters. Basically monsters are real and the governments of the world are trying to keep that fact from the general public. This series blends action, horror and comedy into good solid self contained stories with hints of an overall story arc to tie everything together. The main locations are in and around Alabama and easily recognizable to those familiar with the south-eastern United Sates.

Most excellent,
Donated 50 WRZ$. Know of any other good ones?

@Steven522
Thank you but,
I have already read these. Infact I have read all of the popular fantasy books (tried them at least) and most of the little known ones too that is the reason I am branching out into different genre.

Have you read:

Soon I Will be Invincible by Austin Grossman. Split between a male POV and a female POV. Basically a tale of super-villain vs super-heroes.

What about Sci-Fi? Have you read a lot of that too?

Off the top of my head I would think The Vorkosigan Saga by Lois McMaster Bujold would fit your criteria by the second or third (sorry been a while since I read them) book. First couple are more from a female's perspective but eventually her son takes over as the main character.

I haven't read any of the books you've mentioned but I would recommend the following series that appear to fit your criteria.

David Weber & John Ringo : Empire of Man series
Main character: Roger Ramius Sergei Chiang MacClintock

Dexter by Jeff Lindsay is a very good thriller and a very unique/original series.

"Stars, hide your fires; Let not light see my black and deep desires."

its doesn't match your criteria all that much but "Dogs of War" & "Day of the Jackal" by Frederick Forsyth deserves a mention they're more anti-hero tho.
The same applies to Jack Higgins Sean Dillon Series.

I think W.E.B. Griffins series Honor Bound & Presidential Agent are both good - they may have a few more POV's than you'd like tho

For more "authentic" authors Duncan Falconer, Chris Ryan & Andy McNab all served in British Special Forces before becoming novelists - however the majority of books the main character is over 30 and is either already a soldier(Ryan's Geordie Sharp novels), or was a soldier and now does black bag jobs for the British government(McNab's Nick Stone novels).

Ted Bell's Alex Hawke series is a good read.

I know you asked for no more thrillers but Robert Ludlum's books are really good - the Bourne & Matarese series are good and theres a few standalones
