I'm looking for books that generally revolve around solving interesting murders. The more interesting, the better. Things like riddles, puzzles, and maybe occasionally going out of the way to an odd place and that sort of field. I don't mind scientific research type books like Kathy Reichs, but I'm craving for less lab work and more exploration.
I've recently read Brother Grimm by Craig Russell, the premise is that a serial killer kills his victims with a theme of Grimm fairy tales for each of them. If anything of the sort comes to mind, please let me know!
