This is boring
There are a lot of mystery/detective thrillers out there but i don't really like that genre. 8)

If there are some spy novel they all can be described as... he went to middle-east . he did this and that. Getting bored of it. I need some cool stuff which is mostly based on things happening around us.

Idea is
Any book that has theme like TV show The BlackList.
Explanation Book/series about an ex-agent who is gone rogue (like reddington) and want to take revenge or want to eliminate the criminals. Protagonist should be like Reddington in The BlackList. :?
ex-agent has that kind of experience and talent.... :?
Something on those lines...
Should have good story too...
Thanks :D

Not sure if you'd be interested in this, since it doesn't really fit everything you mentioned, but... maybe you could try the Escape From Furnace series by Alexander Gordon Smith?

In the adrenalin-fueled five-book Escape from Furnace series--full of action, adventure and mystery--Alex Sawyer seeks to break free of a hellish underground penitentiary for teenage offenders. But with every step toward freedom, Alex finds there will be no escaping the secret horrors and nightmarish creatures haunting his endless nights until he confronts and destroys the prison's mastermind.

However, I feel like I should probably warn you that the first book was the best, IMO. After that, it got slightly worse with each book (not bad, just not as enjoyable), until the last one, that got a bit better, but still wasn't like the first one. Of course, just my opinion.

You might try going to this site: http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/
and search for your author. When you find him, and click on the title of the book, it usually has a link to the book on Amazon.com...and they usually give you a few pages to read, to see if you like the book. Also, on the author page, you can find a list of similar authors.

A little different series, if you haven't read him before: The Repairman Jack series by F. Paul Wilson. Check him out on the Fantastic Fiction website.

Hope that helps!

Ha! There's an emerging genre dubbed military fiction. Try Myke Cole's Control Point.
