I just finished the final of this series by Deborah Harkness and I loved them! Are there any recomendations for others like these books? It kinda made me think that they were a grown up version of Twilight/Mortal Instruments, but I would really enjoy reading more like this if you know what I mean...*wink *wink

Try

Kelly Armstrong; Supernatural romance, various trilogies set in the same 'other live amoungst us' world with much overlap of characters between trilogies. 1st book in werefolf set is Bitten, first in witch set is Dime Store Magic.

Kim Harrison; 10+ book series, Less heavy on the romance but a difference take on the normal urban fantasy (set 50ish years in the future but a plague now wiped out much of humanity witch revealed various supernatural species that were not affected, civilization has generally recovered but supernaturals are now out)

the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning. These books are most well written in the supernatural genre i've ever read. Quite a far upgrade from Discovery of witches, Twilight, etc.

The Outlander series has the witch and the time travelling aspect but no Vampires sadly! =)

Good lord I had to stop reading this series after I read the whole "vampire yoga" stuff.
I'd recommend Johnathan Strange and Mr. Norrell.
