Does anyone know of any sites that actively keep up with retro authors' Historical Fiction or Historical Romance backlists e-publications? I've been trying to find one, because I mostly read retro Romance novels.

authoralarms.com allows you to set alarms for any author name and you get an email either when the pre-release is announced or the day of the release or both - whichever option you set. It's great for being alerted any time an author releases a book or re-releases an older book.

Only drawback I've found is if the author doesn't sell through Amazon as that is the source for authoralarms publication notifications. It also means if a book is exclusively released through a publisher's site initially (like Siren-Bookstrand, for example), then you don't get the authoralarms notification until the book gets listed on Amazon.

I myself follow over 500 authors and I get an email about mid-morning my time just about every day listing new books that are available to pre-order as well as books that are now available. The email lists each book name, author name and series info (if any), a link to the Amazon page, and any synopsis that is available on Amazon.

And if you decide to stop following an author or want to add more, there's a link at the bottom of the email to allow you to adjust your settings.
