Hello folks. I need a question answered. Hoping someone here can do that. I was able to download the 1st book of the series. When I try to download the rest I see violation and it won't let me. This book came very recommended from the other women I know. Why would it be a violation??? If it can be printed for everyone, why can it not be posted?

Thanks. I got them to download. Most times I have no problem with .rar files...but for some reason this one gave me issues. Hubby fixed it for me. Computer geniuses are awesome. I appreciate your help. I can't wait to read them. What was your view on them?

OMG! You are on your way to the best roller-coaster ride you have ever experienced! I put off reading them for a long time because it isn't a genre that I've read in over 25 years. But the girls in my book club were all chatting about them so I HAD to check them out.

Get ready for the ride of your life! Can''t put them down! On book 3 and can't wait for the movie of the first book to come out! I have not met one person who is sorry they started reading them.

I'll raise my hand. I couldn't finish reading it past the 23% mark and had to abandon it....

Everyone for their own opinion, though.

It just wasn't my cup of tea.

SPOILERS BELOW

First and foremost, you need to understand this series is nothing but Twilight fan-fiction.
Secondly, and just as important (because most people are clueless): this series is not, I repeat not about BDSM.

Essentially, the Hero ("H") is older than the heroine ("h"), more wealthy than Croesus, and. . .the H has more issues than the entire cast of Real Housewives of (every farging city they've ever profiled).

Yeah, there's talk about a contract (which is where people get the impression it's about a BDSM relationship), but that's it: it's just talk.

yeah... about that.....

How in the world ...???
I've read Grey and Greyer. I thought about reading the 'fan-fic's Fan Fic' (which is supposed to be the third, this latest release, but using original character names - and wtf is up with that???), but started gagging on page 2 and DNF'd it.

Seriously, WOW. I thought I'd need a trip to the ER for the aneurysm that started forming behind my left eye. Because I could see it. And it was getting bigger.

They're not great. They're certainly not the worst I've ever read, but I think at most they're only just above average. I do have to admit, I was surprised by the bold statements the author made about the underage relationship (found in Greyer).

I appreciated reading about some old haunts in Portland & Seattle (but really, there's no-where in Vancouver that's 5 min from Portland - you gotta go over the Columbia river, and that's a 15 min drive from off-ramp to off-ramp). Decently written, but some of the grammatical mistakes (like "interesting" for "interested") made me laugh and wonder what happened to the final editing/read-throughs. Dunno. I'm not sure I'd recommend them. And I'm definitely in agreement with whomever it was that initially classified it as vanilla-kink because it's really not about BDSM - despite the terminology the author kept inserting. I would describe this series as "Vanilla Kink with two chocolate sprinkles, lots of promises to add (BDSM) whipped cream, and the only (D/s) cherry in sight of the entire sundae is the cover picture."

Biggest plus: there are NO SPARKLY Maybelline VAMPIRES.
Biggest negative: (Just my NSHO ;) but YMMV) there's no Taylor Lautner running around in my head when I read these stories.

I'm a 22 year old boy/man...whatever you want to call me. I read, them, and enjoyed the read. I'm not going to say I'd re-read them as I have some other books multiple times, but they series was defiantly worth reading.

I finally got around to reading them. read book one in a week...I only read before bed. I'm already on book two and flying through that as well. It isn't what I expected. it is kiniky but I don't know if I would call it bdsm. Maybe some...but not the whole think. It just is more kinky than anything. Its a good light read
