I read this book about 10 years ago, and cannot remember who wrote it - a woman was some sort of historical garden restoration expert, and there is some sort of mystery surrounding a neighboring grave site or something similar. the house gets burned down, and she falls for the home owner. I thought it was a "Barbara" someone - I don't see it under Barbara Micahels' titles. With this rough of a storyline, can anyone suggest an author it could be so I could find other titles to read? I seem to remember a lot were about historical sites and restoration - thanks

Thanks for any help.

I think you may be talking about Mary Freeman but I'm not sure. She has gardening mystery books.
