Hi everyone. I am currently searching for new titles of romance books. I read historical romance / paranormal romance / kidnapping romance / contemporary romance.

I am searching books about guys that when they fall in love they would do anything to keep safe the girl they love they may be a lil overprotective and possessive some times. (7 to 9 are about girls that were kidnapted but they end up falling in love with the one that kidnap them).

For paranormal romance I recommend Laurann Dohner's "Kindred" series.

If you want protective hot alpha males then you MUST read the Rock Chick Series by Kristen Ashley. Sooo worth it!

I would absolutely recommend anything by Christine Feehan. I think a few in her Dark Series as well as Burning wild in her leopard Series have elements of kidnapping with over protective Alpha males.

Lora Leigh's breed series and Laurann Dohner's New Species are also paranormal romances with possessive alpha males.

For contemporary and partially YA books, I would recommend anything by Elizabeth Reyes.

Have to admit that I loved reading auther Jayna Vixen and Tracy St John.

Recently I picked up books by Julia Quinn. Her books/writings are more into historical romance ..think of pride and prejudice with a bit of mushy and swoon worthy. and the hero as describe in her books are definitely make your heart goes badump badump

I agree that anything by Christine Feehan has a hero who fits your description. You may also want to try the Sazi books by CT Adams and Cathy Clamp or the Paladins series by Alexis Morgan.

If you like historicals, try Karen Robards' the Banning Sisters books, particularly "Shameless". That is a lot of fun (sort of the Ransom of Red Chief as a romance).
