Are you into space opera/farce? If you are, I suggest Candace Sams' "Electra Galaxy's Mr Interstellar Feller". It has intersteller cops operating undercover at a guy's beauty pagent. I won't say anything else - it would spoil it.

Another author which is good, tho not as funny, would be Susan Grant. I recommend her Borderlands books.

If you want paranormal, go with Alexis Morgan's 3 series: the Paladins, the Warriors of the Mist and the Talions.

Enjoy!

Molly Harper's How to Flirt With a Naked Werewolf , Jayne Ann Krentz Arcane Society novels read Second Sight first if you don't mind historical but if you prefer contemporary read White Lies , or Nora Roberts Circle trilogy and her Sign of Seven series. All of these are supernatural or paranormal . And Since you like Space Opera I recommend Lois Mcmaster Bujolds Miles Vorkosigan series start with Cordelia's Honor , David Weber's Path of the Fury, and Elizabeth Moon's Vatta and Serrano Legacy series
