Hi,
I'm looking for a certain type of books.

1. ROMANCE
I'm looking for:
- Something similar to "Beautiful Disaster" by ‎NOT ALLOWED or "Fifty shades of Grey" (BUT not the S&M part, but I want some similar type of boyfriend)
- I mean something romantic, but more "real" (nothing like Sparks...)
- I want book with bad-boys who are "head over heels", maybe for the first time.
- I want something without all the drama (like: old devorce, cancer, murder...)
- Book heroes with age between 16-30 years old.
- Books, were guys are sweet-bad-boy kind of type (I mean small, unexpected, romantic situations, like in "beautiful disaster" were boy gave the girl a dog; I want this "OOOhhh..." situations :) )
- The main character is a girl

2. PARANORMAL ROMANCE
I'm looking for:
- Book with werewolfs/shapeshifters
- Book were main character finds his/hers true MATE
- I don't want a book were wolfs are in something like heat, and they screw around with everybody,
- I'm looking for a book with "TRUE-LOVE-FOREVER"
- Books with a little bit of laugh
- It may be similar to books like: "Halle Pumas" and "Halle Shifters" series by Dana Marie Bell, or Weird Girls series by Cecy Robson

I will be very gratefull for your help :)
And please, post as many books as you can, because I may have read some of yours recomendations already :)

I actually was and I'm at Goodreads, but the searching is killing me.. You have no idea how much time it takes to search and find something interesting :P especially when you looking something THAT specific..
Usually, when I think that I found something interesting, it turns out that the description and review were not too good...
That's why I posted earlier detailed description of the searched book.

As I said I loved "Beautiful Disaster", "Fifty shades" (but more of a relationship part that erotic part of the book).
Usually I don't read "romance", usually I read "paranormal romance" so I can't "post some of those I read", because there are not too many. But If It can help, I DIDN'T like (for example) "Thoughtless" by S.C. Stephens.. there was this all cheating, stupidity..
And, regarding to read and liked by me "paranormal romance" books, You Can visit my profile on Goodreads ;)
On goodreads I'm "Kamarie" ;)

Thx again!

Try:
Bound series by Cynthia Eden
Vanguards series by Annie Nicholas
Furry United Coalition series by Eve Langlais

They all really good, funny and they meet your criteria :D

i have read a lot in this sub-category and still do, so i hope i can be of help, but it depends if all the parameters you set have to be satisfied. for example some of the books i've read don't have the humor part and in others the true mates thing is more implied than clearly specified, but the love is a forever kind and so on. plus i usually don't remember exactly all that happened in a book (after some months have passed), i remain with some of it, but most of my requirements seem to be the same as yours, so for me to remain with a feeling of i liked that book/series/author it has to have satisfied most of your requirements. i also hate TSTL heroes/heroines, so i have to have really liked a book to be able to look past TSTL actions. and let's not forget that depending on the mood i might like a book very much if i read it now and not so much if i read it a week ago.

so keeping in mind what i said previously, here are some of my recommendations:
- the pride series by shelly laurenston, but it will depend if you like her sense of humor and you shouldn't take them too seriously, i think they are thought to be a little on the parody side
- the orchard series by jennifer dellerman, but i don't think it has humor in it
- shifters unbound by jennifer ashley, also without humor

if i remember correctly none of them has the heat caused sex, but some of the characters might have been a little too casual about sex until they met the one. also i'm not sure if they are all with fated mates, but they are definitely with true-love-forever and shifters.

let me know if you liked some of what i suggested and i'll add more ;)

For the Paranormal section, i don't exactly know what you're looking for but here are some of my favorite:

- Nalini Singh: Psy-Changelings series (My favourite so far)
- Thea Harrison: Elder Races series (Shapeshifters of all kinds, Races and Myths...)
- Christine Feehan: Dark series.
- Gena Showalter: The Lords of the Underworld series (Story revolves around Demon Lords mostly, Mythical Gods and so on... I don't remember any werewolves but i still recommend the series)

Hi,
Have you tried the Laurann Dohner New Species series. they are great. I haven't tried her Zorn Warriors series, but other people seem to like them.
Also Nalini Singh Guild Hunter have true love forever.
I also like Jeaniene Frost.
In the fifty shades genre, Sylvia Day's Crossfire series is amazing. Much better written than fifty.
Have you read Lara Adrian series of vampire books. All good books about the Breed.
Hope this helps.

My thx to all! :D

I read some of the books recommended by you actually, like:
-Lara Adrian- I didn't like that much,
-Nalini Singh: -Guild Hunter Series - There's moments I like and there's moments that I feel I don't understand..
- Psy-Changelings Series - <3 but my rating was like 4/5 stars. Some parts was boring ;/
- Christine Feehan: Dark series. - Actually I don't have opinion, I didn't like It, but I didn't hate It :)
- Gena Showalter - Love the author!
- Shelly Laurenston - I like her books (rating 4/5 stars) but there were moments like "seriously?..."
- Cynthia Eden - My rating is like 2,5-3/5. Books were not bad, but they are not the type of books I select to "I-definitly-read-that-again-and-again!". There wasn't "oooo.. sweeeetttt... aaaahhhh!"
- Annie Nicholas - Naaah :P
- Eve Langlais - I read but don't remember the books, so It's speak for itself I think :P

Of course please recommend more books ;) I'm a fast reader so I'm always "hungry" for new books! :D

Thx again!

Have you ever read anything by Sophie Kinsella? She is very much chick lit but her books are comical and light romance. I LOVE "Can you keep a secret". Funny and pretty much fits the description of what you're looking for.

2. PARANORMAL ROMANCE
I'm looking for:
- Book with werewolfs/shapeshifters
- Book were main character finds his/hers true MATE

Have you read the Kim Harrison "Hollows" series. This series has witches, fairies, vampires, werewolves, etc and its one of my favorite paranormal fiction series. No heavy pornographic sex scenes; is more adventure with light romance... is really good.

hmmm, since you liked shelly laurenston you might try what she writes under a different pen name: g.a. aiken - the dragon kin series. be warned that it is, in my opinion a little bit more gory/violent than the pride series and it takes place in an alternate medieval period with dragon shifters, still it has that certain something that makes me like shelly's books and i had some good laughs reading them. obviously some of the books are better than others, but that's to be expected of a series, i think.

another book that had some scenes that really made me laugh was kerrelyn sparks - how to marry a millionaire vampire. it is the 1st book in the love at stake series. i don't know if you would like it since it is with vampires and not shifters, there are shifters too, and later on some of them have their own books, but i don't remember them keeping the humor and lightheartedness that i found in this 1st one. and i'm under the impression that that is something that you want in your books. still i like this series because of the universe created and the fact that you get to revisit in later books some of the characters who already found their HEA in previous books plus there is an evolution from the way things stood in the beginning and where they are at in the last book, a fact which doesn't happen in a lot of series i read. another thing to consider is that there were some books in the series which i would only give 2* ratings, i think that they were more like filler books who got the series going in the direction the author wanted.

good luck finding books/authors that you like!

First off I am a newbie so I hope it is okay that I post on this topic,
If you liked the Dark series you need to read the Black Dagger Brotherhood series,
it is all vampire but it has the true love, or true mate that you are looking for,
to me it is so funny, some hate it due to all the name dropping of brands and celebs etc but
there were so many times I would laugh out loud while reading these books,
I am anxiously waiting for the next installment of the series right now lol

also Gena Showalter will be releasing a new book soon in the Lords of the Underworld series soon too
I am currently reading Kresley Coles Immortals after dark series it is quite good but it does not compare
to the BDB series.

I also love Elisabet Naughtons Eternal Guardians series, and again there is a new book to this series
coming out soon too,

I would appreciate very much if you would post some authors or series that you recommend for me,
I read a lot and fast too, have actually read 75 books since March 1st,
smiles
christy

editing to add that I have
Lara Adrian series waiting on my tablet right now (that is what I will be starting next lol)

Jennifer Ashley's Shifters Unbound

Bayou Heat by Alexandra Ivy/Laura Wright - sometimes a little short and I feel like I'm left hanging but I do love them anyway. I think these may be in a collection too

Bianca D'Arc has some shifter series such as Tales of the Were & Redstone Clan. If you like dragons her Dragon Knights series is good.

Kathi B Barton is another writer who has some shifter series. A lot of people LOVE her books, I do too as long as I don't read them back to back, I do tend to find a lot of her heroines tend to be the same, crappy childhood and they all have an kiss A$$ don't mess with me attitude. Her Aaron's Kiss is the best IMO and she just recently released these and several other series in collections.

Celia Kyle, Marie Harte, Loribelle hunt(Lunar Mates), Laurann Dohner(New Species) are all good.

You mentioned Dana Marie Bell so I was trying to go to similar authors I'll have to dig through my lists to see what I have read. March 3rd she has another book coming out in the Halle Shifters. We finally get Chloe's story in Figure of Speech! So that's another to keep an eye out for that.
