Clayton Armstrong from Jude Devareux's counterfiet lady was mine, I love the book but i wanted to kick the hero and beat some sense into is head for most of the book.

funny! clayton from whitney, my love and all other historical heros from Judith McNaught. I mean I get the whole, I'm too rich and therefore cynical of all women, but even the h of the stories have lived difficult lives (one became an orphan, another lived knowing she's the least favorite child of a bigamist, another was sent away to live with aunt and uncles, another lived in fear of bankruptcy, infact) almost all the h in her stories have been emotionally abused and neglected! Cut them some slack, Oh mighty cynical rich lords!!

Mostly alpha heroes from historicals and harlequins. makes me want to go after their testicls and slice and watch them bounce away! Be cynical and mean after that! jump to conclusions after that! HA!

Oh my God, definitely Clayton from Whitney, My Love.
Some of Kristen Ashley's heroes tend to get on my nerves too.

Painter Brooks from Joanna Wylde's Reaper's Fall. The book came out yesterday and my God, he's a bastard. His heroine's not much better
