It seems that as her books are still requested, people here haven't noticed that Lynn Hagen was caught for plagiarism. Lynn Hagen's Saving Sean is in places copied word for word from Raythe Reign's Sanctuary. The books are compared here http://welcome.raythereign.com/lynn-hagen-saving-sean-plagiarism-exhibit/. I'd say it's pretty obvious...

But who's really surprised? When Lynn Hagen started witing (churning out) books every week, I noticed how the tone of the books was weirdly different. And I mean in a weird way. I actually in one book site argued with others about this because my theory was that Lynn Hagen is a "fictional author", just a trademark, and there are several authors writing the stories.

Well I was wrong (and right in a sad way). Lynn Hagen is a fictional author and there are several authors behind the stories. And the stories were stolen by Lynn Hagen.

No wonder Siren has removed all Lynn Hagen's books from their coming soon list. And goodreads has marked Saving Sean as "NOT A BOOK".

What's a pity!! Me too, I thought there were several authors behind the name Lynn Hagen (to much books for just one person!!), but I never believe she stoled stories :(

I am a _bit_ surprised that the author is accused of stealing another's words since I have noticed that some author "cut and paste" some of their romantic interludes/interactions from one book to another - which is a pet peeve of mine. I know there's not exactly billions of ways to describe a hot and heavy session with a new partner, but seriously, word-for-word?

Does anyone know if she will continue to publish more books in the future? What's the status on the plagiarism?

I just asked Raythe reign about the plagiarism and her reply was that it's still an ongoing process. I'm hoping it'll be settled pretty soon for both their sakes. It's sad taking someone else's hard earned talent and pretending it's theirs. Hopefully, eventually Lynn Hagen will be able to apologize and try to do the right thing.

for me, she's not really one of the best authors out there. but seriously, word-per-word plagiarism?

is that just one book or all her published works?

We already got the message that she already plagiarized. This shouldn't has to be always reposted. She is already down no need to push her more. That's a form of bullying. As a fan of BL its our rights who we like ,don't dictate us on what we do. This is a free world you know. As a reader who read many of her works, she might not be the best writer out there but I won't forget that she really did wrote some really good stories. And I gave her the credit. It doesn't mean that she plagiarized one work that she plagiarized everything. Please give her the benefit of a doubt until proven guilty. Don't judge someone for one mistake because that doesn't give us rights to bully someone. That also doesn't mean that we are better from her. If she really is guilty then let her pay for her mistake in a dignified way then give her a second chance if she asked for it.
Compassion is given to those who needs it not judgements and ridicules. We are all human with a heart and a brain. Please act as one. Don't be a robot who only understand facts and nothing more.

Fantastic sentiment that I whole heartedly agree with.
While there is no reason to plagiarise, I do believe in redemption and cannot wait to read her upcoming books.
