@REALwhispa I have a faible for cowboys and those covers are the same, the rougher the cowboy, the better the wax. It's a shame, really... Or intricate tattoos, I don't like tattoos anyway, but on a cowboy? Never!

I do have a topic that occurred to me today when I was looking at the cover of a new download. EVER notice that men on the front of all the shifter books tend to be smooth? Does it bother anyone but me that a wolf/bear/lion/et al should be hairy ?????? They should at least have a bit of "fur" I would think. Just saying......

Clean shaven guys on a shifter book cover is the least of our problems.
If I judged MM books based on their covers, I wouldn't touch most of them with a 10 ft pole
Why is it that so many MM books have covers that make me feel ashamed that someone designed them and thought " That'll do"?

Bahahaha Looks like we all feel the same ...imagine living with the clean shaven "hunk" ...give me a bit of coarseness PLEASE ...even the 6 wee hairs most lads have on their wee chests ...these guys are shiny and new ...we want them to be a bit roughed up , to smell like men not baby oil ...... I know there's Cover artists sneaking around in here Hmmmmm ???

Honestly I started watching Galavant because I had saw Joshua Sasse nude on another show and was already a fan. It turned out to be a bonus that he could sing!!!! And he has one deliciously hairy body. I still get mad thinking of them having Chris Evens shave his chest for Captain America

Hi ladies and gents,

I don't want to be a spoil-sport, but I do have a HUGE request:
with so many members in our group, there are naturally many requests (and answers to that requests). So far so good =:))
But please, could you write more than "Looking" or "request" in the message subject???!!!!!! Could you please write Looking for XY (title and author)?!
Because with all the answers, everything looks the same.
If there would be a name and a title in the message subject, looking for what one need would so much easier.

Thanks!

Most covers have two aims, identify and sell. Interestingly the identification seems to be down to genre (two high-school aged boys -> mm) and sell is lost in translation, as these books go to a very small circle of readers anyways. A better cover costs more money, but I'm not sure if it would generate bigger sales, I mean the market is still a fixed size?

I just finished the new Will and Patrick after starting it at midnight when it came out and loved it. I am not sure how to tell the difference on Kindle books to share or I would. I really love this series alot.

Hi guys, I need help.
My next read is always a pain in the ass decision to make. Usually I need to access what I'm in the mood for, and then search for the best title.
Right now what I want is: 'In the closet', 'Gay for you', 'Butterflies', 'sweet but angsty' maybe some 'coming of age'.... Any suggestion comes into mind? any title that groups all of these or at least some of these?
Thx in advance :)

One of my Favorites :) ...older than coming of age - previously married guy meets vet with a hairy Harry Dog ...very lovely series :)

PM me!

Hairy Harry's Car Seat
Bob the Destroyer of Leads
Hazel Takes Over
Stormin' Norman

You may have already read it as its not a new series :)
