hi! me again, looking for another book.....i silled on my chromebook-and lost several titles i was reading or bookmarked....
this one is about a truckdriver who picks up a young man-and he is attracted to him. the young man is transgender, and has alot of emotional issues. he lives with/close to his older brother, and i remember one incident where the brother leaves the two of them alone hoping that the trucker is the man he thinks he is, and can help his brother, and will do whatever it takes..
before he transitioned he was sexually assaulted by his high schol boyfriend and his friends in the bathroom, once the find out he wants to transition, and the trucker forces him to deal with it....

just wanted to update-i remembered/realized-i don't think he was a truck driver...i think he was driving a pick up truck and the young man was walking down the highway or at a truck stop.....
any help would be greatly appreciated!

hi! still trying to find books from my computer crash...
this one is about these 2 boys -i think they are on a baseball team, or in gym class. anyways-they go on a date to the movies, and they touch each other, and after they are talking and the boy who is the athelete tells the other boy he isn't gay, and when the boy asks him why he went out on a date with him, the athelete tells him because he is a horny teenage boy....and he noticed him staring at him during gym, or practice. and he then tells him how he could never be gay because his dad would freak out. he said that his dad wouldn't even marry his girlfriend because she has a gay son....he says the boys name i think....
the boy looks around and notices a boy sitting a couple of rows ahead of him, and it is the boy the athelete is talking about....he feels terrible, so when he leavesthe theater, and trys to talk to him. he asks him if he heard what was going on, and when the boy says no, he notices he is 'excited' and knows he is lying....
they said something, and then he asks him what he wants to do, and the boy who was a few rows ahead of him says something about just disappearing, and he repeats him 'you would just disappear?' (this is in the amazon preview of the book, the last few sentences) and it tneds with 'and he did just that'....
any ideas?
if anyone could go over the last few posts i made about lost books and has any ideas i would be grateful...i am going crazy trying to find these books....thanks!

hi! i started reading a book-then my chromebook died, and i didn't remember the title, and when i got a new one i couldn't find it! it is driving me nuts!it is a 2 part series, and i was reading the 2nd book-a rich guy who always has a paid 'companion' wants to start a club, where rich gay men can get together to socialize, and it will have a hotel and beach, and cute young guys to work in it....the manager will be one of his former 'companions' who was attacked in the first novel...
the guy wants one of the waiters, and he offers him a couple of thousand dollars to spend the night with him....and he is really shocked when he gets turned down...but the waiter is trying to raise his younger brothers, and sets a good example for them...he was in med school but had to drop out because his dad was sick, and then he died, and now it is up to him to raise his 2 younger brothers....
does this sound familiar to anyone? i hope so because i would like to finish it...i was laughing so hard when the waiter turned him down, and the other staff was applauding to see their boss get shot down.....

For the past few years I've been trying to find a book that I read & I guess never marked it as read on goodreads. I only remember 2 "scenes" from the book. (however at this point they might not even be the same book)

It's about a guy in protective custody & the Marshall/FBI/Whatever alphabet man that is watching him. One scene they are stuck in an apartment & the witness guy after weeks wants to leave the apartment. (I think they leave but someone finds them/ I could be making that part up) Then the big part I remember is the FBI guy hands over the witness to other FBI guys & they go in to a helicopter to leave. But right away the helicopter crashes/gets shot down & the FBI guy runs & gets the witness to make sure he is ok. That's it. I don't even remember if I actually liked the book or not. But seriously it's been like 4 or 5 years and every few months I search for this book. It's literally driving me nuts that I can't remember or find it.

ok-one more down.....
the next one is a transgender/crossdresser....
a man (he spends his life as a woman-but has never had the gender surgery) so he identifies as a woman, owns a skin care company-and everyone knows her as a woman....but years ago she was with this man who abused her...he had tied her up, and stabbed her, left her for dead... a cop found her (and he ends up being a very good friend to her thru life) her mom owns a floral shop, and she goes by there sometimes....
a lawyer starts asking her out, and she refuses-she has body scars, and she thinks he won't want her once he knows who she really is...but he already knows. he was a assistant district attorney, when she was attacked, and he is the one who helped put her attacker away. he fell in loe with her then-even though he was married and had a daughter-he had never had a gay experience, but just fell in love with who she was.
he knew he had to bide his time, and give her time to heal, and to grow, so he stayed in the background.
he has a daughter, who's mother isn't very goood to the little girl, so she gets attached to the lead character, and to her mom....while the two were away for the weekend, the little girls mom hits her, and they have to go to the hospital.
the lawyer rides motorcycles, and has a group of friends that he rides with, he reconnects with her because he represents a client who is suing her oer some sort of 'inappropriate sexual misconduct' involving her business, and he represents the man who is suing her.....
any help would be great!
