Asynia wrote:Hi helpful friends!

A few years ago I read a book that I assume is by an English author, since I'm pretty sure it was set in London. This guy is working as an assistant in a office and has a huge crush on his boss. The boss (secrety) thinks the guy is kind of cute, but too young and he is very much against office romances.

One day the boss goes to the funeral of his despiced father and then ands up back in his office where he gets really drunk, and he then has sex with his assistand over the bosses desk. After that something begin to grow between him and when the assistant has to take a few days off to be with his sick other the boss follows him there (I think).

Another thing that I remeber from this book is that there is another boss sharing some of the same office staff as boss #1, and he starts buying assistant guy small chrystal animals to put on his desk. The first one he buys is a chrystal pony.

Does this ring a bell for someone? I think that I read it in 2014 at the latest, possible even earlier, so it's not a new book. For some reason I just can'y forget it.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks for your help! That's actually not the book I'm looking for - the one I'm looking for is a stand-alone - BUT I've read, loved, and forgotten the title of Jules Jones' Lord And Master series as well, so I'm super-happy that you could make me remember it again! Thanks! :) :D

Its about a guy who is a leader of a paranormal hunters and he is the only human. I don't remember if he was bitten or was shot, but he was dying and his friend had to bite him to be able to save him. While he was convalescence, he changed into a huge wolf and can telepathically talk to his team. He also became a fated mate to a prince?? (not sure about this) but he is a very important vampire. And his family (his grandparents) have been a sworn protector to the vampires for generations. They have to save the paranormal world from destruction based on the fated mates' history (the protagonists were always reincarnated). Please help me, I've been racking my brain to remember the title or even the author. Thanks for any help extended to my query :)

I was reading Family Man by Heidi Cullinan and Marie Sexton and it reminded me of a series I read. It's a large Italian family who owned a few restaurants. MC1 is somewhat in charge of much of the details of running the restaurants while his many of his siblings and cousins are involved as well. He is meeting with his cousin who is a lawyer I believe. Anyway, he sees a younger man outside the restaurant and later ends up stopping an attack or robbery on the young man. The young man is homeless so the first man takes him in and helps him out by giving him a job and eventually sending him to school to become a chef. The other books in the series are about his brothers finding men as well (even the one who they thought was straight) and if I remember right there's a family trip to Italy. I want to say it's set in Chicago but am not 100% sure. (I see why Family Man would have reminded me of that if it is in Chicago). Ideas anyone?

Ok really sketchy but this is a shot in the dark!
It's a shifter series.
Women is on the run I think?
The biggest thing I remember is the guy (lion shifter?) Walks up to someone's house looking for a women? And he knocks on the front door & experiences a link bond w whoever is behind the door. Door opens to a guy. The 2 of them argue quite a bit. She can't hear the link? I think? I just remembered the guy walking up to a house & gets link bonded w the guy inside the house... I want to say it's grey River but u can't seem to find what book or it's from another book in my collection.

Hello, I vaguely remember a mm book featuring a narrator that moved into a house (after a death? Of an aunt maybe?) where the son of the house (named Hunter or something like that? Could be wrong) is pretty cold to him. I think out of grief or something. Can't remember much else, but would love to figure out what it is. Thanks!

hi...i am looking for a book that i am pretty sure came out in the forum within the last 2-3 months-i am almost positive it wouldn't have been more than 6 months...it is about mafic-or mages-this boy goes to a school for magic-and you are grades by the type of magic you can do-and your place in society is by how well you can do-this one boy is low on the scale-so the 'higher up' boys bully him-so he finds this cavern to hide in, and it becomes his 'safe spot'....he finds these 'symbols' marked on the wall-and doesn't understand them, but it is a great dragon theat was entombed there with magic, and the dragon can sense the boy is the one to awaken him, and be his mate-i am pretty sure he was entombed because hr was evil or bad-and they did it so he couldn't do any harm, but then thru time, people sort of forget he is there-and they forget the legends and stories...
..Does this sound familar to anyone? thank you so much for the help!

Are you sure about magic school theme and the time frame? Because On Wings of Thunder by M.D. Grimm (viewtopic.php?f=1292&t=1658052&hilit=M.D.+Grimm) sounds like it may be what you're looking for, but the only difference is that it's about angels, not mages.

Hi there, I hope someone here can help me figure out which book this is, because all I remember is that one of the MC's thought his boyfriend/lover was cheating on him, so he arranged to "get caught in the act" with another guy. I also sort of recall that the guy he cheated with was the one who told him that his BF couldn't be trusted and was cheating on him, but it wasn't true. It turns out that the boyfriend had not cheated on him at all, and he only found out the truth later on when they came across each other again. I know it's vague and that is why I am having such a hard time trying to find this book. It's just that I remember how much I hated the MC for what he did and I want to hate on him some more by reading the book again. Hahaha! So, if anyone can help me out despite the vague info, I would really appreciate it!
