Both are about dragonshifters.
One is about a young man that wouldn't let the town bully marry his sister, so the bully beats him up and stakes him for the dragon to eat him. But is rescued instead, and taken home to the dragons cave. Time passes and they fall in love only the dragonshifter gets hurt one day and the man runs to get bandages to help him. In walks in another dragonshifter who loses it and hurts the young man, they all fall in love eventually. One day the first dragonshifter leaves but gets trapped by humans and is almost raped. The young man saves him and meets the dragon king who he finds out he is related to.
The second book, all I can remember is one was a prince and the other was part of a rebellion who was captured, at the end the prince was forced to change into a black dragon while the captive turned into a white dragon, then the field of sand turned to crystals.
