Cut & Run series is my fav. I've read all the books by Abigail.

But you have to try Marshals series by Mary Calmes. It's my favorite by Calmes.

Also you can read Six Degrees of Lust (By Degrees, #1) by Taylor V. Donovan ---> the serial killer in the book is interesting!

PS: MM+ law enforcement is my favorite too!!

A.E. Via has a series called "Nothing Special". Josh Kanyon has the Adrien English Mysteries which is sort of cop/sleuth. Abigail Roux is my favorite. Also Charlie Cochet's THIRDS series is awesome!

I'll second A.E. Via's Nothing Special series. As well as the series of hers that follows it, Bounty Hunters. Characters from Nothing Special show up in Bounty Hunters. G.A. Hauser's Heroes series is good but it is not solely cops. One book is lifeguards, one is firemen, two are about cops and then another is about a paramedic and a nurse. A number of books in her Action series have either a retired LAPD officer or in some a current LAPD officer as well as actors, models, lawyers and a Hollywood agent. Oh and some of the guys from the Heroes series make appearances in the Action series.

I just finished (as in ten minutes ago0 the Voices omnibus by Sarah Masters. Main Characters a solid London detective and his life partner, a psychic who gets contacted by murdered souls. I always put off to read this series, but now definitely recommend it. It's harsh and gritty... totally believable. Had me reading till four forty am, when I knew I had to get up at six am. I just had to finish all seven books. (Did it in less than two days, because I was so hooked. Only got up to cook, feed my old father and change his diaper! The kitchen is a MESS!

Boystown series by Marshall Thornton

Set in Chicago the 80's rather than being contemporary the series feels very real, it's not sunshine, puppies and HEA, but it's very well written and worth reading as both m/m fiction and Chicago detective fiction.
