I just saw on Goodreads: "Jerkbait" a YA novel about a young hockey player coming to grips with his sexuality etc.
Also "50 ways to say fabulous" by Graeme Aitken, a young boy in a rural setting dealing with "being different" within a rigid outback community.

have you tried going on amazon and just typing in young adult gay romances-or seeing if they have a young adult category? they have a few on amazon.

If you go to ARe, then advanced search and search for, say, romance/gay and romance/young adult, there is quite a lot that comes up. Many of them free reads even. (I think I've read one about a superhero group on there, and I'm not even one for YA, generally)
And riptide, I think, is planning to have their own ya lgbtqia+ imprintthingwhatever later this year. (I'm just mentioning this, because I rather buy from publishers then, say amazon, aaand their site is pretty cool.) so keep your eyes open.

Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz

YA, Coming of Age

Aristotle is an angry teen with a brother in prison. Dante is a know-it-all who has an unusual way of looking at the world. When the two meet at the swimming pool, they seem to have nothing in common. But as the loners start spending time together, they discover that they share a special friendship—the kind that changes lives and lasts a lifetime. And it is through this friendship that Ari and Dante will learn the most important truths about themselves and the kind of people they want to be.

You might try
The Town of Superstition series by R.G. Thomas

It's one I'd like to read as well, but there are around a thousand books on the pile above these.
If you read them, let me know what you think :)
