Just finished Beneath the Stain by Amy Lane. It was serialized by still holds together well. My only problem with it was that it was really kind of depressing. I was wondering if anyone knows of other books in the MM romance genre that one should aproach with caution since not all HEAs are created equal.

Are you aware of any books that are going to leave me sad for days that are still worth reading? And on the flip side of the coin, is there anything out there I can read to cheer me up?

Second Chances by T.A. Webb nearly broke me. So many mixed feelings but I was okay with the end.

Luckily if you decide to read it, the second book was just released. It felt like I waited 2 lifetimes for it!

To cheer you up I'd recommend TJ Klune The Lightning Struck Heart. I still laughing every time I think about certain scenes.

Good call. I read this and followed it up with Tell Me It's Real. There's a scene in Real that I think should warn you not to be eating or drinking when you read it. And I'm a bit worried about anyone driving and listening to that first date on audiobook....

"Wolfsong" by T.J. Klune. The Author said this one had also Wookie Cry Face moments. HEA but so many obstacles for the MCs to get together at last.

(And I'm sorry, I will always run the other way when the sign of Not-Happy-Ending unexpectedly shows up in any books, so . . .)
