One thing I've always liked about fantasy stories is that they're action packed. Not that kind of action, even though that is enjoyable, things like powers and battles. The MM stories I'm finding are specifically about the relationship only.

Any recommendations?

The Nightrunner series by Lynn Flewelling is at the top of my list. Ginn Hale does an awesome job with her Rifter series and her Cadeleonian world (Lord of the White Hell/ Champion of the Scarlet Wolf series). I haven't had the time to finish the Scarlet and the White Wolf series by Kirby Crow, but seems to be a fantasy favorite, too.
