Hello lovely group,
I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for MM (or more) books with mature characters (at least 30, preferably older). I'd prefer realistic bodies/jobs/lifestyles with little emphasis on children. And very little BDSM (no Daddy kink). Supernatural is ok. So is angst. So is transgender.

I know such books exist, as I've run across them purely by accident. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you read Bonfires by Amy Lane yet? They're both in their 40's. (cop/principle)
Sarah Madison The Sixth Sense has older chars as well. Although I haven't read them. (cop/detective stuff)
Susan Reeves Submerged too. (they're both deep sea something or anothers...)

I gave my calibre a quick look - I'll look some more when I have a couple extra minutes.

Most everything by Josh Lanyon has more mature, settled characters, and almost none of them have kids. The More Heat than the Sun series by John. Wiltshire has mature characters and no kids.

GoodReads has a list of books with over-40 characters, but some of them are going to be kid-centric, obviously. And plenty of them are age-gap stories, rather than having both MCs be older. If you enjoy age-gap stories (without daddy kink), I sure like Noah by Cara Dee and The Apothecary's Garden by Julie Bozza.
