I've been looking for a couple of days now and I still can't find this series. I remember that I read it long ago but I just can't remember the title, just a little bit of the story. I'm not even sure if it's a lesbian fantasy novel at that point but I think it is, if it's not I apologies.

It's start like this,the main character, a woman of simple birth if I remember correctly, save someone on the road to somewhere and use the sword of that person that no one can use normally. The sword is enchanted or something and then they travel together. Later in the series or book you learn that her mother was supposed to marry the prince of the kindgom and she was pregnant with her during the war between that kindgom and some barbaric tribes and he died during that war but before that he gave her a proof of their love and that they were betrothed, a necklace. I think she becomes a knight of sort during the first book? I dont really remember clearly.

Random informations i remember: The main character got a lot of magical powers. I remember that she could fly in the sky or something like that and her grandfather is the king of the kindgom but she doesn't know.

I really hope someone could help me.
