Do you have recs for alpha-alpha romance ? Complex characters, who can be a pain where the sun doesn't shine, but are intrinsically good, or, at least, redeemable. And yes, HEA, but not over-the-top romantic. I did a search and found nothing.

if you want a M/M rec the best one i can think of is The Captive Prince trilogy by C.S. Pacat, truly enjoyable read with great world building, complex characters, and a slow burn romance . also check out the Temptation series by Ella Frank for a contemporary M/M read with alpha/alpha romance. I thoroughly enjoyed both series.
