i am upset....recently i have tried to find a book, and i can't locate it anywhere. i contacted amazon, and found the author had removed it from their site....
i very nicely wrote the author, and asked how i could locate this book, as i really wanted to purchase it. i tried contacting her 2 different times, and have gotten no response....i am kind of upset, and a little angry at this...i would have hoped, at the minimum, a email saying 'sorry, can't help you' .
am i wrong? or is this just the way it is now? with how the economy is, you think they would respond when someone contacts them wanting to spend money on a book of theirs....and i feel like not responding is rude!
...i just felt like venting a little as i am frustrated....and wondering if i am wrong to be a little bit upset about this....
thanks!

You`re rightfully pissed off. However are you sure they got the email? Right email address? Try snailmail

Maybe the email address you sent it to isn`t monitored anymore. So they may not have got it. Try writing an actual letter by hand (snailmail) and seeing if that works

I can understand your pain and anger. I too emailed an author about a missing book in a series and received no response. I was very irritated and vowed to never buy another book or read anything from that author again. Later on, purely out of curiosity I browsed the authors sight and read her latest post. She had been sick and was hospitalized for some time. I felt like an idiot after that.

Maybe the authors sick? bedridden? Anything could have happened. Try another email or old-school it, send a USPS first class letter, visit and post on their social media pages. Maybe that will get a response.
