YA books have as many genres as adult (ha) books. Could you be more specific about what you like? YA horror, YA romance, YA fantasy?

I liked "This World We Live In" series, by Susan Beth Pfeffer. http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/0547248 ... eader-link, hopefully this link works, and you can see what they're about.

I have read them.
You might like the Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness. Also Glow and Spark by Amy Kathleen Ryan. Hmm...The City of Ember books by Jeanne DuPrau. They're not YA but the Aftertime series by Sophie Littlefield is really good. There is also the Forest of Hands and Teeth series by Carrie Ryan. The Giver series by Lois Lowry. The Age of Miracles was wonderful...as was A Small Free Kiss in the Dark. Gah I know I'll think of more as soon as I hit post lol.

It depends on which genre you like
I just read Unravelling by Elizabeth Norris and I thought it was really good. It's like Fringe (tv series) for young adults. If you like Dystopian literature, Insurgent (book 2 of Divergent) just recently came out. (or well it did in my book shop) If you like Urban Fantasy, maybe you should try Cassandra Clare's books. (she has a new installment coming out) Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff has been making waves, that's fantasy/steampunk. If you're the fairy tale type, Between the Lines by Jodi Picoult is a good choice. There's a lot of hype with Raven boys, and a lot of reviews about it I've read are full of praise. I can't wait to read TEN by McNeil, Burn for Burn, Origin by Khoury, Cursed by Armentrout and What's left of me. Hope this helps!

I devour these whenever new stories for these series are released:
Mythos Academy - Jennifer Estep
Dark Elite - Chloe Neill
Agatha H - Phil Foglio
Generation Dead - Daniel Waters
If you are interested in a standalone story, you might try "The Rise of Renegade X" - Chelsea Campbell.

I got hooked on a few new series, some have only one book still, others 2 or 3 but they're there.
1. Of Poseidon by Anna Banks
2. Lux (1, 2, 3 coming in December) by Jennifer L Armentrout (going to read Covenant as well)
3. Divinicus Nex Chronicles by A. and E. Kirk
4. Daughter of Smoke and Bone (2nd book, Days of Blood and Starlight coming soon)
5. Shadow and Bone (Grisha I) by Leigh Bardugo was astounding and not your usual girl-meets-boy YA
6. Graceling, Fire (Bitterblue for conclusion) by Kristin Cashore
There are other but I can't remember them offhand.

I am currently reading Mortal Instrument Series, so far I like it.
I recommend Chaos Walking Series by Patrick Ness and Uglies Series by Scott Westerfield if youre into Dystopian. The City of Ember series is good too. Battle Royale is not a new book but its kind of action dystopian.
But if you want a touch-your-heart kind of book that you can read in one seat A Monsters Call by Patrick Ness is really a good one.
If youre into children stories but its sort of good to read and adventure The Mysterious Benedict Society Series and Secret Book Series by Pseudonymous Bosch is good too.
And if you are looking for YA adventure I think Rick Riordans' book will never fail you.
I am also waiting for the 12th book of the Last Apprentice/The Spook Series by Joseph Delaney.
