Well, I tried "Sea of Tranquility" by Katja Millay and it was impressive. Most interesting one and better then other young adult books.

I highly recommend AngelFall by Susan Ee. Great worldbuilding, it's a different take on the 'end of the world' scenario from the bible.

Everything I've read by Frances Hardinge has been great - The Lie Tree and Gullstruck Island were both great. I also really liked Long Lankin by Lindsey Barraclough and The Quietness by Alison Rattle (it is both dark and explicit regarding childbirth, death, and rape, and may be upsetting to some readers).

I just heard that Shannon and Dean Hale have just released a book about Marvel's Squirrel Girl. It's called The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl: Squirrel Meets World. From what I've heard, it's a very interesting book.

Really enjoyed the Celestra Series by Addison Moore, (the Contenance and Celestra Everafter are spinoffs to the series).
Anything by Scott Westerfeld, but especially the Uglies series.
Finally Imogen Rose with the Portal Chronicles and Bonfire Academy series.

Always on the lookout for new books and series,
